As part of my New Years resolution to push my art skills and projects more I am going to be doing a Doodle-A-Day project!

About 20 mins
Just something quick today since I have been a very busy girl (well, it may not seem busy but it's surprising how quickly I am worn out and sore these days...).

One of the many projects I would love to do is design (and make) a chess set. Basic, but cute and derpy Demons as the black pieces and Angels/Spirits as the white ones. This was a doodle I did of a possible King piece for the black set. I might put this idea in the definate project pile to spend some time on in the future

I may have to get myself some clay and maybe make a physical set from the final designs... well, I will try at least, me and clay have a terrible relationship

There are different types of clays these days, I think there's even a type that is more like foam that air dries. That might be a bit more friendly.

I have tried some air dry clay but ended up making a huge mess and it was surprisingly awkward to get out my hair

I am like a little kid playing in mud! The type that needs a kiln was ok but again, I am messy and experiment

I am going to have a mooch for this type you have mentioned though if it is easier to manipulate

I wish I could recommend a place to get some but I'll admit my experience with art supply stores in the UK is rather limited. (I am ashamed of this). Good luck!
