This is technically a remake of my cupcake picture I made back in 2009. I actually wanted to design an adaptable base for emotes and other various uses (so expect many more cupcakes to appear in my folder using this as a base!)

This is pretty cute, and as an avid baker I would love to be able to use this design or similar for icons/headers etc. I know you don't offer these artworks for free use so I was going to suggest that if people like myself (there seems to be a lot of interest for people to use these for various things) wish to use this design exactly, or as a base for another colour scheme that you could offer a small fee to those who want to use it? Or even just draw a basic black and white line version that people can use as a free base to colour their own way? Food for thought. Great work with all the cupcakes though, all of your designs are super cute.

Thanks for the kind comments and suggestions! I do not offer any of my work free for use, I never really declared it so, but this has never stopped them being seriously abused in the past, and even now I am finding my work used a lot without any requests or notification to do so and it is quite damaging, especially when the work is edited or manipulated. I am thinking of doing some basic icon and header style items for small fees with web quality files as part of my freelance work though for people such as yourself, particularly with blogging and non-profit online usage in mind - commercial use however would be a totally different kettle of fish and would fall into license purchases

It's always awful to see your own work being used elsewhere with no credit. I don't understand why people do it. None the less I think it's definitely an idea to make some king of basic line work for people to purchase for a small fee, especially since there is so much interest

And of course commercial use would come under a whole 'nother set of rules/prices. Either way keep up the good work ^_^
